Lovely Caution, print on plastic, 2010-present, site specific

This ongoing series marks public spaces as pleasant instead of dangerous or hazardous. A gesture of protection, the series claims public spaces in some subjective way, lovely or special. With this exhibition, the Lovely Caution tape is protecting an outdoor area adjacent to The Common Well, where quail frequently nest. The site was recently mowed, and hopefully the installation will be a harbinger for the lovely quail to return.
